Coach Kloberdanz begins her fifth year as an assistant coach with Deer Valley. This marks nine consecutive seasons that Coach Kloberdanz has been involved with the Deer Valley program as either an athlete or coach. Erin played a key role in the girls impressive improvement over prior seasons. Three of the last three seasons, Deer Valley girls have qualified for the state meet as a team. 2015 was a breakthrough year for the lady Skyhawks. Kassidy Deardorff finished as the Division 2 runner up, and freshmen Emily Stutesman also earned all state honors finishing in 6th place. As a team, the girls had their first top ten finish since their championship seasons of the early 90s, finishing 9th.  In 2014, the girls ran strong as a team, finishing 16th at the AIA Division 2 state meet. This team included three first first year runners, a theme of quick development that Coach Kloberdanz has exhibited time and time again. Erin has played a key role in three time individual qualifier and twice top 30 state finisher Amber Zehner's development. In 2012, the girls qualified for the state meet as a team, with 19th place finish at the state meet - WITH ONLY FIVE VARSITY RUNNERS. Further evidence of Coach Kloberdanz's ability to develop runners, no girl had run in a high school cross country meet prior to the start of the season.
