Winter Training - 51 Union Project Schedule

Cross Country season ended successfully, with the girls team finishing 13th and the boys squad 15th. Now the focus turns toward track. 

 

51 Union Project will meet in December most Monday - Thursdays at 3:00 pm down by the track. Practices should be finished by 5:00 pm. Winter break practices are TBD, but will be posted by 12/10/16. 

 

January, after school starts will have a similar schedule, with T - Th starting at 2:30 pm.

Winter Conditioning Schedule for January


Winter conditioning for track has begun. I have attached the schedule for January on this page.

First week of practice starts on Monday, January 2nd. Times for practice are as follows: Monday 1/2 3:30 pm. Tuesday 1/3 - on your own. Wednesday 1/4 - 10 am - meet with Coach Riegel - do workout on schedule. Thursday and Friday 1/5 and 1/6 - 4:00 pm (i arrive at 4:30pm). Saturday - 8 am.

Rest of the month - We are meeting at 4pm on the track on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We meet with the track team at 3pm on Tuesdays. Saturday is an 8 am practice.

Group A is for any junior or senior with more than one year of experience who isn't participating in a winter sport.

Group B is for all sophomores and freshmen not participating in a winter sport.

Group C is for all runners participating in a winter sport. This will be important to have a decent aerobic base to jump into intense training come February, as competition starts in less than a month.
